Facilitator: Chantel Borys is the owner of Expressions Ladies Wear in Weyburn. She’s a busy mom of three who spends her time juggling store life, school, kids sports, and community involvement, often all in the same day. When she’s not at the store, you’ll usually find her at a soccer game, going to school herself or sneaking in time to golf.
Chantel believes getting dressed shouldn’t feel stressful or intimidating, and that style looks different on everyone. Through years of working with women in her store, she focuses on fit, comfort, and helping women find pieces that make them feel confident and like the best version of themselves.

Facilitator: Raquel Carlson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who started her career in Weyburn’s ER in 2012 as a Registered Nurse. After furthering her education, she has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2017 and now works at the Weyburn Primary Health Care Clinic. Raquel is dedicated to providing patient-centered care in a welcoming environment, with a strong focus on supporting and advocating for women’s health. Born and raised in Fillmore, Saskatchewan, Raquel still lives there with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she’s always game for almost any activity — whether that’s camping, playing fastball, coaching, or giving back to her community. Raquel’s all about staying active, staying connected, and making the most of every moment. Raquel is especially passionate about women’s health and is dedicated to creating welcoming, judgment-free spaces where patients feel comfortable, supported, and heard. Facilitator: Gina Bowler lives on a small farm 15 min west of Weyburn. Gina has always had a love for both people and horses. She has held many leadership roles in her community, most of which were in 4-H when her kids were young. Twelve years ago, at 55 years young, her kids fully grown with kids of their own, Gina decided to pursue her dream of helping people through horses. As a facilitator of Equine Assisted Learning she is amazed and humbled at the impact horses have had on the lives of participants, witnessing countless lives changed, including her own. When she’s not facilitating programs with her daughter Jen, who is also a certified facilitator, Gina enjoys spending time at the lake, singing at church ,spending time with her family and, of course, spending time with her horses.

Facilitator: RoughBark Greenhouse is celebrating their 10th year of operation. Their hobby started with one little greenhouse bought at an auction sale to grow their own plants for their yard and garden when they lived in Weyburn. In 2014, owners Jon & Shannon, moved to the farm 3 kms East of Weyburn. In 2017, a new 'showcase' greenhouse was built which they sold out of to the public and then used all their greenhouse buildings and garage to prep products for sale at our new location. They have now expanded and operate out at Prairie Sky Coop Home Centre.
Description: Walk out of the session with your hanging basket that you will learn to create using our greenhouse's best practices. We will do a tour of the greenhouse and go over all the different plant types - you can then pick out what you want to have in your planter. We will show you all the tricks that we use to plant at our greenhouse, from the dirt, fertilizing and care.
